CREAM OF SPLIT PEA SOUP In 1 quart of water, immerse 1 pound of split peas. Cook for 2 hours. Put ham bone and 1 bay leaf; cook until the peas are mushy. Discard the bay leaf, ham bone and meat. mix the liquid and peas in the blender . Add the minced ham, salt and pepper to suit your taste. Put carnation milk to suit your taste.

1 lb. split of green peas
1 lb. chopped, carrots
1 ham bone, smoked
pepper & Salt to suit your taste
1 chopped, onion
boiling water- 2 qts.
Herbs, as you wish.
Wash ham bone, put with some onion and carrot to the boiling water. Washttp://splitpeasouprecipesonline.com/wp-admin/post-new.phph split peas, remove from the water and put. All to boil on a medium heat for 2 ½ hours. You may add some water while cooking, if needed. Bring out ham bone. Pull, if required. Serve hot.

Easy Pea Soup
Easy Pea Soup 1 ham bone & some ham on it water- 5 c. 2 cubed, beef bouillon 1 bay of leaf 1 bag of split peas elbow macaroni -1/2 lb. Combine all the first 5 ingredient in a 5 quart pot and cook on a reduced heat for sometime (forget it) turn gradually occasionally. Bring out ham bone and put back the meat in the soup. simmer the elbows in salted water as directed on the box and mix with the peas soup. The soup normally thickens much more by the next day and turn to a meal on its own.
