Split Pea soup Mongolian style



Ingredients:

* green dry split peas – 1 cup
* tomato juice – 1 cup
* butter – 1 tablespoon
* onion – 1 pc.
* strong meat broth – 1 liter
* salt and pepper – to taste
* 1 – cream – 2 tbsp

Onion finely chopped, lightly fry in butter or margarine. Add cold broth. Peas, soaked from the night, put in broth, cook and rub through a sieve into the split pea soup. Add to soup tomato juice, salt, pepper, and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Before serving, add sour cream.
