Split Pea Soup Quick Recipe



Ingredients:

2 quarts of Chicken broth

6 Oz. (3/4 Cup) Split Peas

16oz (1 lb) of potatoes

Olive Oil 3 Table Spoons

1 Onion White

1.5 oz of Tomato paste (Ketchup if there is no paste)

Coriander to taste,

parsley

2 cloves of garlic

Cayenne pepper to taste

Directions:

Cook Split Peas and diced potatoes in water, after 30 minutes take them out, drain. Put split peas and potatoes into broth and cook for another 15 minutes.

On a hot skillet sautee onion with a tomato paste or ketchup. and put it into soup.

Serve with parsley, add some cayenne pepper and minced garlic.
